Mirror, Mirror is a self portrait I did, reflecting on an embroidered pillow that my mother had. The pillow read “Mirror, Mirror on the wall, I have become my mother after all”. I’ve found myself realizing that as I get older, I find more things about myself that remind me of my mother. This piece captures the essence of that emotion and realization.
